Rathnam (transl. Gem) is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language masala film directed by Hari and co-produced by Stone Bench Films, Zee Studios, and Invenio Origin. Starring Vishal in the titular role, the film features Priya Bhavani Shankar in a dual role as the female lead and the hero's mother, alongside an ensemble cast including Samuthirakani, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Yogi Babu, Murali Sharma, Hareesh Peradi, Mohan Raman, and Vijayakumar. This marks the third collaboration between Vishal and Hari after Thaamirabharani and Poojai. The film's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with M. Sukumar and T. S. Jay handling cinematography and editing, respectively.
Announced in April 2023 under the working title Vishal 34, the film's official title was revealed in December 2023. Principal photography began in July 2023 and spanned multiple locations, including Thoothukudi, Trichy, Karaikudi, Vellore, Tirupati, and Chennai, before wrapping in January 2024. Rathnam was released on 26 April 2024.
In the film, Arkeshwara, an air force officer, enters the underworld due to unavoidable circumststances and revolves around his life between 1942 and 1986. Kabzaa was released on 17 March 2023 in Kannada, along with the dubbed versions of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam coinciding with the 48th birth anniversary of Puneeth Rajkumar.
